The starting pay for this position is $49300.00 yearly salary and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

Essential Functions:
- Complies with all applicable codes regulations governmental agency and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Responsible for coordinating common area site repairs consisting of plumbing HVAC electrical carpentry and directly addressing all physical site needs including building interior exterior and grounds.
- Manages communicates and assigns work orders to maintenance technicians subcontractors and vendors and assists in resolving problems.
- Provides reports on open and closed work orders and checks status with the appropriate technicians or vendors and ensuring that work tickets are completed.
- Coordinate and assists with health and safety building and vehicle drills and inspection according to set schedules.
- Coordinates set up and support for meetings and conference room reservations as needed and directed.
- Assists with the coordination and scheduling of routine vehicle and building maintenance activities.
- Assist in implementing a system for cleaning repair and maintenance of facilities.
- Coordinates with other departments on work issues I.T. Clinic Programs and Administration.
- Orders facilities and building supplies as needed.
- Assists with maintaining facilities related files (e.g. incident reports vendor contract and vehicle records safety drills)
- Assist with new employee onboarding process and ensure new hire workstations and/or offices are set with job essentials.
- Assists with facilities systems management and operation (e.g. updating auditing data entry)
- Assists with moving reconfiguring and installing of modular offices and furniture to accommodate user needs.
- Conducts regular inspection of all company vehicles utilizing an established checklist/schedule
- Documents and files findings of inspections.
- Initiates actions to address any matters requiring attention (e.g. repairs replacement service calls etc.)
- Performs Facilities Technicians duties as assigned
- Other Duties as assigned

Required Education Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree
- 3-5 years experience in Facility Operations
- Working knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing and carpentry
- Knowledge in the use of hand tools (drills power saw hammer screwdriver etc.)
- Ability to work independently without limited supervision
- Working knowledge of (CMMS) Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Working knowledge of facilities Systems pool car key scan enterprise fleet
- Ability to communicate effectively professionally and courteously
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions short correspondence and memos
- Ability to calculate simple figures such as addition subtraction multiplication division and percentages.
- Intermediate time management problem solving customer service interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department
- Intermediate level experience with computers and Microsoft office products
- Ability to analyze information research issues pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Preferred Education Skills and Experience
- Certification in Facilities Management

- Valid Michigans drivers License
- Current proof of insurance and registration
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Position type and expected hours of work
- Monday through Friday 8:00a to 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position requires occasional weekends and early morning and evening work as well as on call duty for facilities
emergencies.
Travel Requirement:
- This position requires travel during the workday to other locations.
- Because of multiple sites within the department it is common to drive to
several locations sometimes in inclement weather.
