Were hiring a Data Analyst to establish a dedicated analytics owner for dashboards definitions deep-dive analysis and instrumentation quality. This role exists because analytics and reporting are currently spread across product leaders as part of the job creating bottlenecks manual reporting inconsistent answers and limited capacity to move beyond baseline reporting into deeper insight.
What youll do
Youll work closely with senior stakeholders across Engineering Product Sales and Content Engineering Content and Subscriptions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Company dashboards and reporting - Design build and maintain dashboards used by teams across the business whilst establishing single-source-of-truth reporting where possible.
- Provide bespoke reporting and analysis delivering fast accurate ad hoc insights and clear recommendations that explain performance identify issues and quantify opportunities.
- Act as the go-to analytics partner for the Partnerships team delivering partner-ready reporting and audience insights across web email and campaigns to support renewals upsells and stronger commercial conversations. Also support Product Content and Subscriptions with clear scalable reporting that improves decision-making and enables more effective self-serve access to data.
- Contribute to our analytics strategy by improving how we measure performance as our tools and practices evolve. Partner with Product and Engineering to strengthen tracking instrumentation and data quality and support experiment design measurement plans and post-test analysis so teams can make better decisions with confidence.
What success looks like
- Foster and enable more of an experimentation approach and improved use of data within our product and engineering team.
- Partner reporting becomes a commercial advantage - improving reporting quality reducing manual effort and supporting renewal and expansion conversations
- Richer audience and channel insights that help Product and Content improve traffic repeat habits recirculation and overall engagement
- Stronger email and lifecycle analytics across the network especially as Braze comes online.
- A stronger measurement foundation for subscriptions promotions and funnel experiments with clear baselines and readouts
What were looking for:
Must-haves
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker Tableau or similar platforms
- Proven experience building maintaining and improving dashboards and reports that non-technical stakeholders actively use
- Deep digital analytics knowledge with expert-level GA4 experience and a strong understanding of event-based measurement attribution limitations and best-practice reporting
- Experience working with data warehouses and large datasets such as BigQuery Snowflake Databricks or similar environments and strong SQL.
- Strong email analytics capability including lifecycle performance cohort behaviour engagement and downstream impact
- Experience partnering with product managers on experimentation including test design measurement plans and post-test analysis
- Strong communication skills - you can explain complex analysis simply and turn insight into action
- Comfort using AI tools and emerging technology to improve efficiency analysis quality and insight accessibility
Nice-to-have
- Braze experience particularly reporting concepts and data exports
- Experience in media content subscriptions or audience-led digital businesses
- Exposure to data modelling and structured dataset design
- Experience with analytics implementation including tracking plans tag management and data layer design
