Job Location: Cape Town South Africa Contract Details: Full-time 40 hours per week Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team in Cape Town South Africa. The Stock Controller will be responsible for managing and monitoring inventory levels ensuring accurate stock counts and maintaining efficient stock control procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for all products - Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies - Ensure timely and accurate delivery of stock to internal departments and external customers - Maintain proper storage and organization of stock in the warehouse - Monitor stock movements and identify any potential issues or shortages - Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast stock needs and ensure adequate supply - Implement and maintain efficient stock control procedures - Keep accurate records of stock transactions and prepare reports as needed - Identify and report any slow-moving or obsolete stock - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with stock control procedures - Train and supervise junior stock control staff as needed Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience as a stock controller or similar role - Strong mathematical and analytical skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects - Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting We offer competitive salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for growth and development within the company.
