Hours: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
Duration: Contract through 8/31/2026 (with potential extension)
Employment Type: W-2 Contract
Overview
TalentFish is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory operations in a hands-on fast-paced testing environment. This role will partner closely with senior laboratory staff to process samples execute tests and ensure accurate data collection and reporting. This is a long-term 2nd shift opportunity with training provided.
Key Responsibilities
Process laboratory samples and perform standardized testing procedures
Set up build and adapt basic test equipment as needed
Operate general laboratory equipment and maintain work areas
Follow defined test plans datasheets and procedures
Record analyze and interpret test results with accuracy
Prepare charts graphs and reports to communicate findings
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and wiring diagrams
Monitor test performance and evaluate sample results
Input and extract data using laboratory systems and software
Communicate with internal teams and support customer-related testing activities
Maintain proper documentation of observed and calculated data
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the lab
Follow all safety security and compliance standards
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a relevant scientific field
Understanding of laboratory equipment and laboratory information systems
Ability to interpret technical documentation (schematics diagrams instructions)
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a structured process-driven environment
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $14 - $17 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity. The salary range provided is in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
