Responsibilities
As the Vice President of Finance you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing the clients financial strategy to support their growth and operational goals.
- Overseeing all financial operations including budgeting forecasting financial reporting and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Leading capital-raising efforts including debt and equity financing to support the development and expansion of renewable energy projects.
- Cultivating strong strategic relationships with investors lenders and other financial stakeholders.
- Providing insights and support to the executive leadership team to guide decision-making and long-term planning.
- Leading mentoring and growing a high-performing finance team to achieve organizational objectives.
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks while ensuring overall financial health and sustainability.
Qualifications
To excel in this role you should bring:
- A bachelors degree in finance accounting economics or a related field. An advanced degree MBA or CPA designation is highly desirable.
- Significant experience in senior financial leadership roles preferably within industries such as renewable energy infrastructure or energy project development.
- Demonstrated success in raising capital and managing complex financial transactions including project finance initiatives.
- Strong financial modeling project finance and corporate finance expertise.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams while fostering an environment of collaboration and accountability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic mindset with a focus on driving organizational growth and operational efficiency.
- A solid understanding of renewable energy markets regulatory frameworks and emerging trends is a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities Breakdown
Your day-to-day will include:
