Location: Houston TX
The Financial Service Representative II (FSR 2) is responsible for providing excellent member service by greeting members and visitors managing lobby traffic and assisting with a variety of financial transactions. This role processes member transactions promotes financial products and services and assists members with loan applications while maintaining a professional and friendly environment.
Greet members and visitors in the lobby and direct them to the appropriate service area.
Process financial transactions including receiving and paying out money and maintaining records of negotiable instruments.
Identify member financial needs and provide solutions or recommend appropriate financial products and services.
Assist members with service requests such as:
Wire transfers
Statement copies
Check copies
Check orders
Stop payment requests
Payroll allocations
Visa debit card requests
Enter new member information and service data into the system.
Assist members with loan applications and provide information on loan products.
Help open and close the safe deposit vault and assist members with safe deposit box access.
Provide Notary Public services when needed.
Support FSR I staff as needed.
Complete required training and certifications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with members.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
13 months of related experience or training preferred (banking financial services or customer service)
Computer Skills
Basic knowledge of:
Word processing software
Spreadsheet software
Internet applications
Math Skills
Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition subtraction multiplication division ratios and percentages.
Primarily office/branch setting
Moderate noise level
Occasional exposure to varying environmental conditions
Frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds
Regular sitting standing walking and reaching
Ability to use hands for handling documents and equipment
Close distance and peripheral vision required
