Position: Sr Planning Engineer (VLOOKUP)

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12months

Job Description:

Partner with the Account Team and Solutions Engineers to develop efficient architecture solutions for new customer deals and network expense recovery.
Develop collaborative planning solutions to aid in the long-term growth of the company from a network advancement and revenue perspective.
Improve network efficiencies by addressing latency owned vs leased assets and deployment of new technology.
Drive revenue growth by identifying new near net assets in high revenue growth areas and expansion markets.
Create detailed plans providing service delivery solutions to customer or data center locations including physical and network layer plans maps diagrams and cost estimates.
Provide support through the implementation stages by performing capital budget/variance management and network design reviews.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent education and 6 years of relevant experience
4 years of related experience with a Masters degree
Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting with demonstrated proficiency in VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
Proficiency in utilizing internal mapping tools for map-based design tasks
Effective collaboration and communication skills with ability to delegate to internal project stakeholders and third-party vendor partners

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with and foundational understanding of internal mapping tools like ArcGIS or comparable for designing within detailed maps and diagrams to depict design plan initiatives
Project Management or Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience driving process improvement utilizing such methodologies
