ICU Registrar (Unaccredited) 2h from Sydney

Im currently scheduling interviews for an ICU Registrar (Unaccredited) position at a regional hospital just 2h drive from Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for doctors looking to build strong Critical Care experience in a supportive environment while living in one of the most beautiful regions in NSW.

Role Structure Critical Care Rotation
ICU 6 months
Anaesthetics 3 months
Emergency 3 months

You will gain exposure to a wide range of procedures and clinical scenarios including:
Advanced life support & resuscitation
Arterial / central venous access
Thoracotomy & emergency procedures
Critical care patient management
Multidisciplinary ICU care

Hospital is the main acute care hospital for the region employing over 1000 staff and providing:
Emergency medical surgical & orthopaedic services
ICU with high dependency and coronary care
Childrens Ward and Maternity Unit
Regional Cancer Care Centre
Sub-acute Mental Health Unit

The hospital is currently undergoing a $500 million redevelopment expanding services and facilities.

Requirements
MBBS or equivalent
AHPRA registration
Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Officer
