Job Summary
Edsa Shangri-La Manila
Edsa Shangri-La Manila is the only five-star deluxe city-resort convention hotel in Ortigas Center Mandaluyong City Metro Manilas second largest business district. Adjacent to two major shopping complexes in the country - Shangri-La Plaza Mall and SM Megamall. It is seven-kilometres from the Makati Central Business District and 13 kilometers from the international airport.
We are looking for Executive Chinese Chef.
As Executive Chinese Chef we rely on you to:
- Be responsible for the development of daily menu
- Ensure the quality of food and beverages provided is of the highest standards
- Supervise the daily operation of the kitchen
- Plan the yearly theme events and activities
- Maintain the branding and the quality of every meal
- Optimise profitability
- Support the Executive Chef in daily operation
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for Food & Beverage
- Enjoys interacting with people
- Communicates with fluency in English (and the local language)
- Must have experience with either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment
- Has management experience would be advantageous
- Always aware of latest market trends and industry updates
- Enjoys being challenged
- Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
