AEC Specialty Care Moorabbin is excited to be launching our Internal Medicine Specialist Department and were looking for passionate skilled veterinary nurses to help bring it to life.

The Role
As an Internal Medicine Veterinary Nurse youll work closely with our Internal Medicine Specialist and wider hospital team to deliver high-level care to complex medical patients.
Your role will include:
- Providing exceptional nursing care to hospitalised medical patients.
- Assisting with advanced diagnostics including blood collection imaging (CT x-ray ultrasound) endoscopy support and procedures.
- Monitoring and managing anaesthesia for patients with complex medical conditions.
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting smooth daily workflow.
- Contributing to the development of protocols and workflows as the department launches.
- Working collaboratively with ECC and surgery departments.
About You
Were looking for a nurse who is curious detail-oriented and excited by medicine:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
- Experience in internal medicine or referral practice.
- A strong interest in medical nursing and a desire to deepen your skills.
- Calm organised and attentive to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine team-player mindset.
- Compassionate approach to patients clients and colleagues.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced referral environment.
