Job Summary

The Student Experience Centre is looking for two Student Experience Coordinators to join our busy and supportive team.

In this role you will play an important part in supporting both prospective and current students as they explore their study options and navigate the University journey. You will provide high-quality advice and support across a wide range of enquiries helping students access the information and services they need to succeed.

Students engage with our team through multiple channels primarily phone and email and youll be responsible for delivering responsive accurate and friendly support. You will also connect students with specialist teams across the University and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure students receive the best possible experience.

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys helping people solving problems and making a meaningful impact on the student experience.

The role is typically based at 49 Symonds Street Auckland CBD although some flexibility may be required to work both on campus and from home where appropriate.

These are two full-time positions (37.5 hours per week):

  • One permanent role
  • One fixed-term role for 18 months

The salary range is $56400 $65000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

The Student Experience Centre team is passionate about delivering excellent service and supporting students at key moments in their university journey. You are a confident communicator who enjoys working with people and providing exceptional service. You bring strong listening skills empathy and the ability to explain complex information clearly.

Youre comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple systems and collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to find the best solutions for students.

 

Ngā pūkenga motuhake Important skills and experience

  • 23 years experience delivering high-quality customer service including managing complex enquiries
  • 12 years experience in an outbound call centre environment
  • Experience working with and supporting a diverse range of clients or communities
  • The ability to develop subject matter expertise and confidently provide accurate information
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Confidence navigating multiple digital systems and platforms
  • Excellent listening communication and problem-solving skills

You will also demonstrate Kia Whakamana i te Tangata acknowledging maintaining and restoring the mana and dignity of individuals whānau and communities in your interactions.
