Downer New Zealand is seeking an experienced Asset Manager / Claims Coordinator to support the delivery and performance of Auckland Transports Waiheke and Rakino Island network.
This handson role is responsible for managing transport assets coordinating Requests for Service (RFS) and validating claims for completed maintenance works in accordance with contract requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage Auckland Transport transport assets across Waiheke and Rakino
- Triage and manage RFS received via the AT Call Centre
- Ensure RFS are actioned within contractual response times
- Raise dispatch and manage work orders through the Asset & Work Management (AWM) system
- Validate and coordinate claims for completed maintenance works in line with contract schedules and agreed rates
- Maintain accurate asset work and claims records to support audit and performance reporting
- Support contract compliance asset condition monitoring and continuous improvement
Nga pūkenga matua Important Skills
Proven experience in asset management within a transport or infrastructure environment
- Strong knowledge of maintenance contracts schedules of rates and claims processes
- Solid working experience with asset and work management systems (AWM highly desirable)
- High attention to detail with strong commercial awareness
- The ability to work autonomously in an island network environment
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
