Job Summary

Job Title:	Climbing Wall Attendant
Department:	Campus Recreation
Student Employment Type:	Non-Federal Work Study
Responsibilities:	Ensure participant safety at the climbing wall Open and close the climbing wall Check in and supervise climbers Teach belay courses and conduct belay tests Inspect and manage equipment inventory Set climbing routes (with approval from the Assistant Director) Maintain the climbing wall and facility Attend regular Outdoors staff meetings and all-staff training Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:	Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills Willingness to learn new skills
Hours of Position:	Regular Wall Hours MondayThursday: 4:00 pm 8:00 pm Friday: 4:00 pm 7:00 pm Saturday: 3:00 pm 6:00 pm Sunday: Closed Belay Clinics Schedule varies Route Setting Schedule varies
