Job Summary
SUMMARY: Is accountable of Supplier OTD and to issue purchase orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Treats in a timely manner the ERP error messages ordering and expediting materials as required to ensure on time delivery.
Maintains the procurement data in the ERP.
Maintains day to-day supplier relationships and facilitates ocean or air shipment decision to ensure on time product delivery.
Develops the adequate contingencies when required with the supplier.
Works in accordance with the supplier OTD progress objectives and with the related time frame.
Monitors progress and utilizes planning concepts.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience in Procurement and/or planning in a manufacturing environment. Has experience with material planning concepts. MUST have good analytic and communication skills.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel Powerpoint and ERP systems.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Oracle ERP system preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment. May involve seldom exposure to cold and hot temperatures humidity dust vapors fumes vibration and other loud noises from plant.
