Reporting to the IT Squad Service Manager the IT Technician plays a key role in ensuring the stability and quality of delivered services by advising and supporting colleagues in analyzing and resolving issues leveraging a broad understanding of EBCs business domains.


  • Handle and resolve simple software or hardware incidents to minimize service disruptions.

  • Escalate more complex cases to higher-level support ensuring all necessary information is complete and clear.

  • Apply procedures contribute to the knowledge base and report gaps to improve the quality of support services.

  • Work with higher-level teams to analyze trends and improve processes and service quality.

  • Actively participate in the HRIT onboarding process for new employees ensuring smooth system setup and deployment.

  • Assist and support users with compliance requirements and adaptation to cybersecurity-related changes.



  • Requirements

  • DEC or DEP in Computer Science or relevant field.

  • Experience in IT support for end users and use of a ticket management system (ITSM).

  • Strong communication skills; bilingualism English/French (written and spoken) preferred.

  • Must be available for emergency support outside regular hours if required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 environment.

  • Knowledge of using an ITSM platform.
