Reporting to the IT Squad Service Manager the IT Technician plays a key role in ensuring the stability and quality of delivered services by advising and supporting colleagues in analyzing and resolving issues leveraging a broad understanding of EBCs business domains.
Handle and resolve simple software or hardware incidents to minimize service disruptions.
Escalate more complex cases to higher-level support ensuring all necessary information is complete and clear.
Apply procedures contribute to the knowledge base and report gaps to improve the quality of support services.
Work with higher-level teams to analyze trends and improve processes and service quality.
Actively participate in the HRIT onboarding process for new employees ensuring smooth system setup and deployment.
Assist and support users with compliance requirements and adaptation to cybersecurity-related changes.
Requirements
DEC or DEP in Computer Science or relevant field.
Experience in IT support for end users and use of a ticket management system (ITSM).
Strong communication skills; bilingualism English/French (written and spoken) preferred.
Must be available for emergency support outside regular hours if required.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 environment.
Knowledge of using an ITSM platform.
