Reporting to the IT Squad Service Manager the IT Technician plays a key role in ensuring the stability and quality of delivered services by advising and supporting colleagues in analyzing and resolving issues leveraging a broad understanding of EBCs business domains.

More specifically the responsibilities include:

  • Provide full IT support (Helpdesk and Infrastructure) for a site with approximately 100 users.
  • Participate in a project lasting about 4 years.
  • Coordinate and ensure that services are delivered professionally and in a friendly manner while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Act as a resource for technical support to site users and business partners.
  • Diagnose analyze document investigate and/or resolve issues independently demonstrating strong problem-solving skills (Workstations Printers Network Infrastructure).
  • Manage inventory and produce inventory reports as needed.
  • Contribute to optimizing operational processes and support continuous improvement of IT services for EBC construction sites and operations.
  • Actively research new partners to improve operational reach for remote sites.
  • Serve as a technology advisor to implement new solutions that enhance site infrastructure.
  • Perform any other related tasks.


Requirements

  • DEC or DEP in Computer Science or relevant field.

  • Experience in IT support for end users and use of a ticket management system (ITSM).

  • Strong communication skills; bilingualism English/French (written and spoken) preferred.

  • Must be available for emergency support outside regular hours if required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 environment.

  • Knowledge of using an ITSM platform.
