• Own planning and delivery of engineering work: translate product goals into a clear roadmapmaintaina healthy backlog and ensure predictable highquality releases.

• Provide technical leadership at the senior engineer level:participatein architecture and design reviews challenge approaches and help your team make pragmatic tradeoffs.

• Create an environment where engineers can do their best work: remove blockers improve ways of working and foster a culture of ownership collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Partner with Product and UX to align on priorities scope and success measures; communicate status risks and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders.

• Champion operational excellence: drive good engineering practices (code reviews testing CI/CD) and ensure your services meet expectations for reliability performance security and observability.

• Lead coach and support a team of software engineers (mix of backend frontend and/or QA) through 1:1s feedback and clear growth plans.

Theseare the essentialsyoullneed to get an interview:

• Solid experience asaengineering managerfor software engineering teams (typically 24 years) or as a senior/staff engineerregularly leadingteams and projects.

• Hands-on technical background withrelational Databaseexpertiseincloud platforms(AWS Azure or GCP)CI/CD pipelineswith

• Experience using or managing teams thatleverageAI-assisted coding and productivity tools

• A track recordofowning deliveryendtoend: planning execution risk management and releasing highquality software on a predictable cadence.

• Clear confidentcommunication skills you can explain technical topics to nontechnical stakeholders and represent your team in crossfunctional forums.

• Demonstrated ability tohire onboard mentor and developengineers withdifferent experiencelevels.

• Comfortable working inAgileenvironments (Scrum/Kanban): partnering with Productrunningor supporting ceremonies and continuously improving how the team works.

• Familiarity withAIassisted development tools(e.g. GitHub Copilot) and an interest in helping teams become more AInative in how they build software.
