This work involves a balance of fieldwork and desk-based tasks soavalid full UK driving licence is essential and must be obtained prior to your application.You will:
- Support and develop Regulatory Officers to become confident in their role through regular training and feedback
- Support healthsafetyand wellbeing by promoting awareness and good practice in line with the Environment Agency guidance
- Work with your team and wider regime to bring businesses into compliance and investigate suspected non-compliance
- Carry out audits both on-site and remotely as a lead officer and as support to regulatory officers in training
- Build effective relationships with businesses and stakeholders
- Solve technical challenges and develop practical evidence-based solutions
- Analyse complex data to support informed decision making and be able to justify decisions to your team and stakeholders
- Createdevelopand improve processes and operational guidance
- Ensure work is consistently delivered to required standards and service levels while reflecting best practice ways of working
Youllalso play a key role in incident response with full training and support provided as well asadditionalpayment where applicable.
