Location: Onsite-Chesapeake VA
Training: 4 weeks of classroom training provided
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour-please note this rate may be below your states minimum wage. Consider this when applying.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Support Specialists to support retirees and current employees with pension plan inquiries. This role combines phone-based administrative support and customer service assisting members by navigating multiple systems to provide accurate benefits information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer calls from retirees and employees regarding pension and retirement benefits.
- Research and resolve inquiries using multiple systems and screens simultaneously.
- Accurately document member interactions and update records.
- Provide professional customer service in a call center environment.
- Support new business implementation and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Call center or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic typing and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems.
- Must have a GED or High School Diploma
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
