Job Summary
JD
Monitor and manage batch job workflows using Control-M ensuring timely execution and resolving job failures.
Track and verify backup jobs using NetBackup investigate backup failures and coordinate recovery actions.
Perform system monitoring and basic administration on Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers using standard UNIX commands.
Monitor high-availability clusters and services using Veritas Cluster Server / VOM and escalate issues when required.
Handle incident service request and change tickets through ServiceNow following ITIL processes.
Monitor infrastructure alerts using enterprise monitoring tools such as HP OpenView and take appropriate corrective actions.
Coordinate with application infrastructure and storage teams while documenting operational activities in Microsoft SharePoint.
Communicate job status incidents and operational updates with stakeholders via Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
