Were seeking an experienced Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to lead a critical component of Swifts global followthesun SOC which operates across multiple regions to deliver 24/7 protection for the global payments ecosystem.

This is a leadership role combiningoperational ownership people leadership and strategic influence within one of the most critical security environments in the world.

What youll do

AsSOC Manager you sit at the intersection ofGlobal Security Technology and the business. Youll lead a SOC that operates in afollow-the-sun model collaborating closely with regional SOC teams to ensure continuous security monitoring threat hunting rapid incident response and seamless handovers across time zones.

Youll act as the primary escalation point (Duty Manager) for your team guiding complex investigations supporting analysts during high-impact events and taking part in a weekend on-call rotation.

You are also a key contributor toSwifts Business Resilience capability working with Duty Managers across the organisation to manage incidents that could impact Swifts services customers or reputation on a global scale.

Beyond daily operations youll be part of theCyber Fusion Center leadership team helping shape and execute Swifts global security strategy while driving improvements across people processes and technology.

Your key responsibilities

  • Cyber Fusion Center leadership
    Contribute to leadership decisions strategic initiatives and the evolution of Swifts global security posture.
  • Lead a global follow-the-sun SOC
    Empower geographically distributed teams to deliver 24/7 security monitoring detection threat hunting investigation and response.
  • End-to-end incident management
    Own the full lifecycle of security incidents ensuring clear escalation paths effective regional handovers and continuous improvement.
  • Operational excellence at scale
    Define own and continuously improve SOC processes playbooks and operating procedures in line with industry best practices and Swift standards.
  • People & talent leadership
    Recruit coach and develop a diverse global team. Drive performance engagement and career development in line with Swifts values.
  • Stakeholder & relationship management
    Act as the visible point of contact for the SOC partnering with security technology and business stakeholders globally.
  • Audit & assurance ownership
    Serve as a key contact for internal and external audits and own several security controls.
  • Vendor & partner management
    Manage strategic vendors supporting SOC capabilities and services.

What were looking for

  • Proven experience leadingglobal or follow-the-sun SOC operations.
  • Strong people-centric leadership style with a coaching and servant-leadership mindset.
  • Hands-on background insecurity incident response and crisis management.
  • Degree inComputer Science Engineering Information Security or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to communicate and influence acrosstechnical business and executive audiences.
  • Calm decisive and adaptable in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience leading remote multicultural and highly technical teams.
  • A track record of buildinghigh-performing security operations teams.
  • Passion for security that enables the business to operate safely at scale.
  • Comfort operating in anAgile continuously evolving technology environment.

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia is $121564.00 USD Annual MINIMUM to $225762.00 USD Annual MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance. Our generous benefits program includes medical dental vision and life insurance with no premium costs for our employees and their families and retirement plan plus matching 401k.
