About the Role

SailPoint is seeking aSoftwareEngineering Manager to help lead our Sustaining team for the Identity Product. This Engineering team has the responsibility and technicalexpertisein troubleshooting and resolving the high priority customer reported issues that cannot be resolved by our Support and Professional Services this role you will collaborate with Customer SuccessMgrs Support Professional Services and the broader Identity Product Engineering team to help ensure that our customers are providedtimelyand high-quality patch releases for Identity Product.

This responsibility includes oversight of a QA team for verification of resolved issues and regression testing of patch release will also oversee issue investigations by the Sustaining team requiring expedited troubleshooting todetermineroot cause as well as delivery of expedited fixes tofacilitatecustomer deployment timelines. The role occasionally requires communication directly with customers to direct the Sustaining teamsassistancein L3 Support escalations.

To lead this team we are looking to bring on an experienced and motivational manager who willbe responsible forleading all aspects of Identity Product which relate to how our customersutilizethe product to solve their complex identity and access management challenges in unique ways. A background in Agile software development environment is preferred.

This is ahigh-visibility leadership rolewith deeporganization exposureinfluenceand ownership of mission-critical systems.

• Lead and growa high-performing engineering team buildingsustaining engineeringcapabilities

• Day-to-day leadership of the Sustaining team.

• Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure the team has a clear set of priorities.

• Resource allocation for key projects.

• Coaching Software Engineers to develop their full potential.

• Project planning identifying scoping prioritizingtrackingand reporting deliverables and milestones.

• Managing risk and issues targeted to patch releases.

• Foster a culture ofownership technical rigor and continuous improvement

• 6 years of software engineering experience including3 years leadingsustainingengineering teams

• Extensive background insustaining engineering.

• Results focusedwitha track recordof success working in an Agile environment.

• Experience building and managing a team of Software Engineers.

• Good understanding of software development in Java.

• An exceptional mentor and leader with a passion for continuous improvement.

• Excellent organization and communication skills.

• Ability to pick upnew technologiesquickly.

• Proactive flexible anda peopleperson.

• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience withPAM or zero-trust architectures

• Familiarity withpolicy engines RBAC/ABAC or real-time authorization

• Experience integrating withcloud providers (AWS Azure GCP).

• Experience with build tooling and DevOps processes.

• Knowledge ofauditability compliance and security controls
