Job Summary

Motivated and results-oriented Instrumentation and Automation Engineer in DP. Responsible for installation maintenance and calibration of a wide range of instrumentation and automation systems to ensure efficient and compliant production of biopharmaceutical drug products. This role requires a strong understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and relevant industry regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design specify and install instrumentation and automation systems for Fill-Finish operations including filling lines lyophilizers washers and other process equipment.
• Develop and implement control strategies for process automation systems using PLC DCS and SCADA platforms.
• Perform calibration preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of various instrumentation and automation equipment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation including calibration records maintenance logs and system diagrams.
• Participate in project teams for capital equipment acquisition installation and qualification.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in instrumentation and automation technology relevant to the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Adhere to all GMP regulations and ensure equipment operation complies with established policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers and production personnel to optimize process performance and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications :

Educational qualification

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics Electronics & Communication Electronics & Instrumentation Instrumentation & Automation or related field)
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience working with instrumentation and automation systems in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical food or similar).
• Strong understanding of PLC DCS and SCADA programming languages.
• Experience with calibration procedures and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of GMP principles and practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
