Job Summary

RPO Recruitments client a dynamic multi-disciplinary consulting firm in Durban is seeking a permanent Structural Engineering Draughtsperson with expertise in Concrete Reinforcement Detailing to join their team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting structural engineering projects within the building services sector focusing on accurate reinforcement detailing and high-quality drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce structural drawings and concrete reinforcement schedules in accordance with company QMS
Coordinate structural drawings with professional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist with multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output

Requirements:

Diploma in Draughting (advantageous).
5 years of experience in structural draughting with a strong emphasis on concrete reinforcement detailing.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for structural draughting.
Solid understanding of structural systems and quality management systems (QMS).
Comprehensive knowledge of drawing standards.
Ability to produce precise structural drawings and reinforcement schedules aligned with QMS standards.
Strong coordination skills to work effectively with professional teams.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects without compromising quality.
