Job Summary
Role Description
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to work remotely on U.S.-based construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural analysis design and modeling and must be proficient in American building codes (IBC ACI AISC ASCE). This role requires collaborating with multidisciplinary teams reviewing structural plans and ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in structural engineering
- Strong knowledge of U.S. structural codes (IBC ACI AISC ASCE NDS).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit SAP2000 ETABS RAM or .
- Experience with steel concrete timber and masonry structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- English proficiency (spoken and written).
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings commercial structures and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review structural drawings calculations and reports.
- Use design and analysis software such as AutoCAD Revit SAP2000 ETABS RAM or .
- Ensure compliance with U.S. building codes (IBC ACI AISC ASCE 7 NDS).
- Coordinate with architects MEP engineers and construction teams to optimize designs.
- Provide technical support and recommendations during the design and construction phases.
- Conduct structural assessments and prepare documentation for permits and approvals.
Compensation
$2000 – $3500 USD/month paid in USD depending on experience.
