Position Summary
Lake Monticello is seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Pool Manager to help oversee daily operations at the Lake Monticello Pool. This role supports the Pool Manager in maintaining a safe welcoming and well-run aquatic facility for residents and guests.

Position Summary
Lake Monticello is seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Pool Manager to help oversee daily operations at the Lake Monticello Pool. This role supports the Pool Manager in maintaining a safe welcoming and well-run aquatic facility for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily pool operations including opening and closing procedures
- Support supervision scheduling and oversight of lifeguards and pool staff
- Help enforce pool rules safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Respond to member questions and concerns in a professional customer-focused manner
- Assist with staff training onboarding and performance feedback
- Monitor pool conditions cleanliness and equipment; report maintenance issues
- Step in as acting manager when the Pool Manager is unavailable
Qualifications:
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Current lifeguard certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior pool recreation or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergency situations
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in summer weather conditions
Compensation:
