Responsibilities
Located at Community Regional Medical Center home to the regions only Level I Trauma Center our Neuroscience ICU is a specialized 30-bed unit that delivers critical care to patients with a wide range of complex neurological conditions. From traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries to stroke seizures intracranial aneurysms tumors and more this unit is a regional destination for advanced neurocritical care. Youll join a close-knit team of more than 110 professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional care in a fast-evolving high-acuity environment where your leadership will help shape outcomes and culture.
- Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support a highly skilled team providing advanced neurological and trauma-related critical care.
- Coordinate patient care foster staff development drive performance improvements and ensure operational efficiency in a unit serving patients with some of the most complex conditions in the Valley.
- Foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued and you actively help team members navigate their career growth and development.
As a member of the unit leadership team the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts.
Qualifications
- RN Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
- BLS Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
- Certifications as for the unit
