As a Locum CRNA you will play a critical role in delivering anesthesia services for various surgical procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
Monitor patients vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery
Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
Assess patients medical histories and physical conditions
Provide post-anesthesia care and support to patients
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures
Requirements
Associate degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
Current CRNA certification and state licensure
Experience in a clinical anesthesia setting
Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment
Flexible schedule
Call coverage required
Case Mix: Bread and butter ENT orthopedics general surgery bronchs endo podiatry OB/GYN etc.
Team Structure: 2 Anesthesiologists 6 CRNAs
Must be board-certified
