| Job Description | Under limited supervision coordinates designs and secures computer databases to store track and maintain a large volume of critical business information. Serves as highest advanced-level subject matter expert providing authoritative guidance for professional staff. May also serve in a lead role.
Monitoring & Observability: -
Configure maintain and optimize monitoring solutions using Dynatrace. -
Enable end-to-end visibility across infrastructure systems and applications. -
Develop dashboards alerts and health checks to ensure system health and reliability. -
Monitor service performance and availability and set alert thresholds to minimize false positives. Infrastructure Systems Monitoring: -
Monitor Windows/Linux servers virtual environments and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP). -
Support monitoring of databases middleware and network components. -
Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to identify trends and capacity needs. -
Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact production. Application Monitoring: -
Use Dynatrace to monitor application performance and transaction flows. -
Support synthetic monitoring and real user monitoring. -
Work closely with application teams to ensure comprehensive monitoring coverage. -
Assist in troubleshooting performance issues at both the application and system level. Incident Support: -
Participate in incident response efforts related to performance and availability. -
Provide monitoring insights during troubleshooting and root cause analysis. -
Identify and close monitoring gaps. Continuous Improvement: -
Enhance monitoring standards and documentation. -
Recommend improvements to monitoring configurations and alert strategies. -
Support integration of monitoring tools with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms. Requirements: |
