Job Summary

Delivers high-quality patient care within the Interventional Radiology (IR) Department.

Demonstrates proficiency in assisting a diverse range of physiciansincluding Interventional Radiologists Vascular Surgeons and Neurosurgeonsto achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

Actively engages in the strategic growth and development of the department offering insights and proposals for continuous improvement to management.

Oversight includes meticulous planning and coordination to ensure that top-tier care is consistently provided in the IR setting. Collaborates closely with Interventional Radiologists Vascular Surgeons Neurosurgeons and Diagnostic Imaging RNs to enhance procedural success and patient experiences.

Contributes to the training and professional development of IR Technologists fostering an environment of learning and skill advancement.

In addition to clinical responsibilities plays a pivotal role in the operational management of the IR department.

This encompasses patient scheduling inventory management of IR supplies compliance with regulatory standards as well as preparations for Department of Health and Joint Commission inspections. Additionally ensures adherence to Radiation Safety protocols monitors dosimetry and participates in policy formulation.

- Washington Radiologic Technologist Certification

- National Registered Technologist

- Radiography (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

- National Provider BLS (American Heart Association)
