Job Description

As aMLSETour Guide you will play a crucial role in providing informative engaging and memorable tours for our guests. You will lead visitors through various areas of the arena sharing fascinating stories about the venues history architecture and the events that take place.This role also includes hosting andfacilitatingbirthday party tours creating fun celebratory and age-appropriate experiences for younger guests and their families.Your goal is to enhance the visitor experience by delivering high-quality tours that highlight the unique features of the arena.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conductvenuetours:Lead engaging and informative tours of Scotiabank Arena including back-of-houseareas luxury suitesdressingrooms and other key locationsas well as specialized birthday party tours tailored to children and family groups.

Hostbirthdaypartyexperiences:facilitatebirthday party tours by creating an energetic welcoming environment guiding groups through the arenaassistingwith celebrations and ensuring a memorable experience for the guest of honour and attendees.

Shareknowledge:thoroughly review and study provided materials toacquirein-depth knowledge of thearenas history events and notable moments ensuringaccurateand engaging storytelling during tours.

Engagevisitors:create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests responding to questions and interacting with diverse groups of peopleincluding children and families during birthday party tours.

Maintainstandards:ensure that all tours adhere to safety protocols and guidelines and that the arena is kept clean and presentable for guests.

Coordinate withteam:work closely with other tour guides and staff to ensure smooth operations and coordination of tour schedules.

Promoteservices:inform guests aboutadditionalservicesmerchandiseand upcomingevents.

Adapt tofeedback:adjust tours based on guest feedback and provide suggestions for improving the tour experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previousexperience in a customer-facing role ideally in a tour guide or hospitality position.

Strong knowledge of Scotiabank Arena Torontos sportsand entertainmenthistory and general venue operations is a plus. Training will be provided.

Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and entertain diverse audiencesincluding children and families.

A genuine passion for sports and entertainment with an eagerness to share this enthusiasm with others.

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
