Job Summary

Lets Start with the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our dynamic global tax team. This role involves managing the tax compliance and governance of our entities worldwide with a focus on indirect and direct tax matters and they will report to the Group Tax. This position is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional with experience in a multinational environment or an audit/consulting firm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders.

As a Tax Associate you will:
  • Collaborate with external tax consultants globally and oversee the tax compliance processes for all entities;
  • Monitor and ensure accurate and timely tax reporting including VAT WHT and other relevant taxes across all jurisdictions;
  • Review and reconcile direct and indirect tax returns prepared by external providers ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations;
  • Support the Groups international expansion by ensuring tax compliance for new entitiesaddressing tax implications for new markets and ensuring alignment with local regulations;
  • Handle administrative tasks for the Group Tax department (e.g. POs documentation updates etc.);
  • Extract and configure data from business systems (ERP) to produce accurate tax reporting performing quality control checks;
  • Continuously evaluate and improve tax compliance processes implementing new controls and procedures;
  • Respond to tax audits and inquiries by providing necessary documentation;
  • Provide clear and accurate answers to tax-related questions from internal teams with the guidance of the Tax leadership Team;

What youll bring:

  • BSc in Accounting Economics or Business Administration and MSc in Economics or Taxation is a plus;
  • Professional tax certifications (e.g. CTA ACA) are advantageous;
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in taxation preferably within a multinational organization or audit/consulting firm;
  • Experience with indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions particularly in Europe would be beneficial;
  • Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and financial accounting principles;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of other languages is advantageous;
  • Solid analytical skills critical thinking and a problem-solving mindset;
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize numerous concurrent projects;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment;
  • Familiarity with IFRS is a plus;
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy;
  • Proactive and self-driven approach to work;
  • Effective team player in a multicultural and cross-functional environment;
  • Continuous improvement attitude with creative problem-solving capabilities.
