About The Opportunity

Programmed Group Services is seeking an Injury Management Advisor to join our dedicated NSW Self Insurance Workers Compensation team. Your primary focus will be building strong supportive relationships with injured workers operational teams across multiple sites and thirdparty providers while coordinating safe and timely returntowork outcomes.

Unlike purely officebased roles this position offers variety - regularly taking you out into the field to visit work sites and medical providers ensuring proactive compassionate and handson injury management.

This is a permanent parttime role working 3 days per week - with full flexibility around how those hours are structured. Whether you prefer set days varied days each week shorter days across more days or schoolhoursstyle arrangements were open to making it work. Youll also have the freedom to work from any of our NSW office locations including Botany Auburn Parramatta Seven Hills or Wollongong giving you even more choice in how and where you work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the goal of zero injuries.
  • Ensure that all injured employees return to work and are assisted to restoration of full function as early as possible after injury.
  • Maintain contact with injured employees.
  • Ensure all claims and claim files are maintained to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and statutory authorities.
  • Work closely with divisions to understand and remove barriers to meaningful return to work.
  • Liaise with the internal and external stakeholders and the HSE teams.
  • Work with various divisions medical providers and injured employees.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have experience across Workers Compensation and Return to Work processes unwavering motivation for delivery and a natural aptitude for first-class stakeholder engagement. Additionally you will demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
  • Skilled in negotiation conflict resolution and active listening.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage Return to Work Plans including injury management policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Completed accredited Return to Work Coordinator (RTWC) course.
  • Confident working with injured workers and medical providers.
  • Industry experience in transport logistics construction or manufacturing with multi-site exposure. (Highly regarded)
