As a Senior Environmental Technical Advisor at FLINT youll leverage 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector oversee review and sign off on Stage I and II Site Investigations as well as remediation reports. Based in British Columbia youll drive continuous improvement by identifying trends and optimizing processes prioritizing health and safety while utilizing your expertise in regulatory compliance in site assessment and remediation practices.
Salary Range: $120000 - $150000
What would you be doing
- Provide technical expertise on Northeast British Columibia upstream Oil and Gas sites in collaboration with Project Managers and Operations.
- Offer expert environmental solutions and strategic recommendations to clients in line with environmental science engineering principles and regulatory requirements and assist in permitting processes.
- Conduct comprehensive environmental risk assessments including site investigations data analysis and interpretation to identify potential hazards and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including scientists engineers and regulatory specialists to develop integrated solutions that address complex environmental challenges.
- Provide technical guidance on compliance and site reports. Implement process optimization innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of our environmental consulting services.

Qualifications :
- University degree in environmental science/engineering or related discipline. Registration with a British Columbia professional association. ( etc.).
- 10 years of environmental consulting experience with strong knowledge of BC guidelines.
- Experience in working with regulatory bodies in British Columbia (BCER)
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex environmental projects including site investigations risk assessments and remediation efforts.
- Leadership experience and analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop innovative solutions.
- Reclamation experience will be considered an asset.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
