Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology

This locum position offers a rewarding opportunity in an inpatient setting focusing on bread and butter gastrointestinal procedures. Enjoy the support of dedicated staff and the latest technology including Epic EMR while making a significant impact in the lives of your patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient coverage including rounding and consultations.
- Perform ERCP and other standard endoscopic procedures.
- Handle emergency call from the Emergency Department.
- Work collaboratively with a team of 3 inpatient APPs dedicated to GI.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and documentation in Epic EMR.
- Participate in orientation and training as required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- KY medical license is highly preferred; IMLC accepted.
- Experience with ERCP procedures is mandatory.
- Current ACLS and DEA certifications.
- Clear malpractice history preferred.
- Availability at the time of name clearance is required.
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days is necessary.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligible - Required
- KY License - Highly Preferred
- ERCP - Required
- ACLS and DEA - Required
- Clean malpractice history - Highly Preferred
