Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia for surgical and procedural cases
Monitor patients throughout the surgical process
Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans
Evaluate patients preoperatively and manage their postoperative care
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Stay current with advances in anesthesiology practices
Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
Requirements
Associate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
Current CRNA certification and state licensure
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Flexibility to adapt to varying clinical situations
Previous experience in a medical practice setting is a plus
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
10 ORs 3 minor rooms 2 delivery rooms
200-bed hospital
Cases: Orthopedics spines robotic surgery ENT GYN ophthalmology urology plastics and podiatry
No trauma hearts or neuro
Will not place blocks epidurals or spinals
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
