Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for surgical and procedural cases
- Monitor patients throughout the surgical process
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans
- Evaluate patients preoperatively and manage their postoperative care
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Stay current with advances in anesthesiology practices
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
- Current CRNA certification and state licensure
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Flexibility to adapt to varying clinical situations
- Previous experience in a medical practice setting is a plus
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
10 ORs 3 minor rooms 2 delivery rooms
200-bed hospital
Cases: Orthopedics spines robotic surgery ENT GYN ophthalmology urology plastics and podiatry
No trauma hearts or neuro
Will not place blocks epidurals or spinals
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
