What a Senior Director Client Consulting - Singapore Visa Consulting & Analytics  does at Visa:

As Senior Director Client Consulting - Singapore Visa Consulting & Analytics  you will be leading and responsible for the Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) P&L in this role you are expected to:

  • Establish and cultivate relationship with Visas clients and partners Banks / Issuers Acquirers and Merchants & Fintech firms by partnering with clients on a range of strategic and execution linked topics
  • Lead business development and execution of advisory engagements in Singapore
  • Champion people leadership agenda for a fast-growing VCA team in Singapore
  • Work cross-functionally with other Visa teams (such as Marketing Product VAS etc.) to bring holistic solutions to our clients
  • Be the face of the franchise and establish credibility in the market

This role has dual reporting to the geo Head of VCA for SMT (Singapore Malaysia and Thailand) cluster and to the Country Manager of Singapore.

Sample projects at VCA Singapore (non-exhaustive):

  • Applying advanced Portfolio Optimization disciplines to drive share and profitability
  • Building AI-first hyper-personalization engines to power banks agenda
  • Develop med-term payments roadmaps to win against emerging disruptors
  • Building first-in-market propositions to expand reach of consumer credit

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 9 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD OR 15 years of relevant work experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD or MD) PhD with 9 years of experience
  • What you will need:
  • The ideal candidate will have strong consulting experience in Singapore is curious about the payments industry and is driven by delivering impact for clients.
  • 15 years of experience in top-tier FI / FS consulting in Singapore (currently at Principal or Associate Partner level or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects / transformation programs at large banks with clear ability to deliver outcomes
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in the local payment landscape including Fintech
  • Strong client stakeholder management skills and communication skills
  • Experience and proven ability to attract hire and retain top talent
  • What will also help:
  • MBA or equivalent education certifications and/or business background
  • Understanding of cards P&L & key drivers merchant acquiring SME banking
