Define and maintain test cases and test procedures for wired connectivity (e.g. automotive Ethernet) ensuring traceability to system hardware and safety requirements.
Establish and own requirements linking between system / hardware requirements and verification artifacts (test cases test results analyses) including coverage metrics and reporting.
Drive test environment capability enhancements:
Define and evolve bench setups fixtures test boards and harnesses to support new network features and operating corners.
Identify gaps in lab capabilities (e.g. bandwidth jitter protocol decoding automation) and lead upgrades in collaboration with lab and capital planning.
Standardize test environments and best practices across programs and suppliers.
Lead bench test execution throughout the development lifecycle including bring-up characterization margining regression and release testing.
Perform detailed hardware analysis in support of testing including worst-case analysis signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) to define appropriate test coverage and limits.
Troubleshoot test failures and anomalous behavior perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions with ECU and semiconductor design teams.
Develop and maintain test specifications and verification plans that clearly define scope pass/fail criteria and acceptance limits for each test item.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in software mechanical systems safety and manufacturing to ensure that test coverage aligns to program needs and that test findings are rapidly integrated into designs.
Interface with semiconductor partners and Tier 1s to align on device- and ECU-level test requirements share lab results and ensure issues are resolved in silicon and hardware revisions.
