Job Description:

The Cummings Agency is seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join our team. As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our insurance products and services. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for testing and identifying potential issues.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans and test cases for insurance products
Collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve defects
Perform both manual and automated testing procedures
Conduct regression testing to ensure product stability
Document testing results and communicate findings to the development team
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in testing

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies

Desired Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing
Experience with insurance products or financial services industry is a plus
Knowledge of agile development practices
Certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) is a bonus

Salary & Benefits:

Salary Range: $88000 - $128000 per year
