Administrative research assistant (Molecular medical imaging)

Nuclear Medicine Department uses radioactive substances (radiopharmaceuticals) for the diagnosis (mainly by imaging based techniques) or treatment of medical Vall dHebron University Hospital the Department is located on Level 0-Area C of the main building.

Our team consists of a variety of highly-trained healthcare professionals who work together including Nuclear Medicine physicians cardiologists radiologists radiopharmacists physicists Nuclear Medicine technologists nurses orderly and administrative staff.

Performing approximately 30.000 nuclear medicine procedures each year we are one the largest single-site nuclear medicine unit in Spain undertaking a huge range of clinical and research scans (scintigraphy/SPECT PET/CT and DEXA) sentinel lymph node identification and other radioguided surgery techniques and more than 600 nuclear medicine treatments per year. Nuclear Medicine Department is involved in the EARL Centre of Excellence (CoE) certification program managed by the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) for PET/CT and Theranostics.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Education and qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma (bachillerato) or equivalent qualification.

• Fluency in Catalan and Spanish

• Fluency in English (at least level B1)

Desirable:

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

• At least 3 years of experience working in the field of Nuclear Medicine procedures including support of clinical trials.

• Technology skills (familiarity with project management tools and software as well as database systems used in clinical research).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to plan organize execute tasks of support in projects effectively meeting established deadlines and budgets.

• Strong sense of responsibility discretion and commitment to confidentiality.

• Good organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously within established procedures.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of internal logistics processes including mail handling courier coordination and shipment tracking.

• Experience supporting internal and external professionals such as monitors auditors and Clinical Research Associates (CRAs).

• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulated environments (e.g. clinical research settings).

• Competencies in teamwork clear and professional communication proactivity adaptability problem-solving and strong customer-service orientation.

• Ability to handle incidents calmly and efficiently maintaining a service-focused and solution-oriented attitude.
