Local Candidates: $36/hour

Position Overview

A skilled nursing facility in Cayuga County NY is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide high-quality nursing care within a Long-Term Care (LTC) environment. The LPN/LVN will work closely with the healthcare team to support resident care monitor patient conditions and ensure compliance with nursing standards and facility policies.

The ideal candidate will have recent nursing home or long-term care experience and be comfortable assisting with both nursing and CNA-related responsibilities when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Monitor resident conditions vital signs and overall health status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Assist with resident care activities and support CNA staff when needed.
Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
Communicate with physicians RNs and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding resident care plans.
Follow all patient safety infection control and facility protocols.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) License
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting
Willingness to assist with CNA duties when required
Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
No requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
