Job Title: Quality Control Testing Technician - I
Role Summary
This position for employment is in the Andover Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory working first shift supporting Laboratory operations Monday through Friday.
This position for employment is in the Andover Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory working first shift supporting Laboratory operations Monday through Friday.
The candidate should be flexible to support both assays performed in the Laboratory as well as office-based work as needed to support the business.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of microbiological assays supporting routine testing of:
Commercial raw materials
Production intermediates and bulk samples
Finished products
Process and cleaning validation samples
Conduct microbiological testing including but not limited to:
Bioburden testing
Endotoxin testing
Biological indicator testing
PCR-based assays
Microbial identification
Accurately interpret analyze and document test results in accordance with:
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Data Integrity principles
Quality systems requirements
Support instrument validation activities and assist with special laboratory projects.
Contribute to laboratory operations by:
Assisting with training new team members
Supporting SOP revisions
Participating in investigation writing and documentation
Maintain compliance with cGLP standards and quality system requirements.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with 0-2 years of experience OR
Associates degree with some industry experience
