We are seeking an experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across multiple units including Medical-Surgical and Telemetry. This role requires flexibility and strong clinical skills as the RN will float between medical-surgical units and assist with medical-surgical overflow in critical care and emergency department environments when needed. The ideal candidate is adaptable experienced in acute care settings and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric medical-surgical and telemetry patients.

• Float between assigned units to support patient care needs and maintain safe staffing levels.

• Provide care for medical-surgical overflow patients in ICU and Emergency Department settings as needed.

• Perform patient assessments monitor vital signs and evaluate patient conditions.

• Administer medications treatments and therapies in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.

• Accurately document patient assessments treatments and outcomes in the electronic medical record system.

• Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans medications and discharge instructions.

• Maintain compliance with infection control safety protocols and professional nursing standards.

• Night shifts (12-hour shifts)

• 72 hours every two weeks

• Weekend and holiday coverage may be required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Hawaii

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in medical-surgical and/or telemetry settings

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system required

• Ability to float between multiple units and adapt to varying patient care environments

• Strong clinical assessment communication and critical thinking skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required

• Additional specialty certifications may be required depending on facility or unit requirements
