Job Summary
description:
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking professional and supervisory discretion and independent department provides labor delivery and recovery (LDR) services. The OB Triage function is included here if performed by staff in this department. Postpartum infant care and ambulatory birthing centers are excluded.
requirement:
Day shift 12 hour shifts 36 or 48 hours/week. shifts starts around 6:00am and goes to 6:30pm. Labor required and Postpartum preferred and Level 2 nursery required. Scrubs are provided if needed otherwise eggplant colored scrubs. Experienced labor Nurse NRP Intermediate fetal Monitoring ACLS & and Work Experience:Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN): PreferredAcute care facility experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredDepartment Specific License/Certifications:Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP): RequiredACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required
