Position Overview
- We are seeking a reliable Associate Operator (Operator I) to support manufacturing operations in a regulated production environment.
- The ideal candidate will assist with basic machine operation production support tasks equipment cleaning and maintaining organized work areas while following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- This role requires attention to detail strong teamwork and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing laboratory or warehouse environment while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic manufacturing and machine operation tasks under the supervision of a qualified operator.
- Assist with basic machine adjustments and operational support.
- Clean maintain and organize tools equipment and workstations.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing work instructions.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment.
- Support team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow company Environmental Health Safety and Sustainability policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Perform basic production documentation and computer-based tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Maintenance Engineering and Quality.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to perform basic machine adjustments.
- Experience working in regulated environments (SOPs cGMP audits).
- Basic computer proficiency (email MS Word internet).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SAP systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Mechanical aptitude or equipment troubleshooting experience.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing / Laboratory / Warehouse environment.
- Exposure to chemical substances biological materials and laboratory equipment.
- Requires standing walking or sitting for extended periods (up to 75% of the time).
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights).
