Production Supervisor Assembly Metal Fabrication Finishing Cutting/Grinding
Responsible for the production of specialty needles in accordance with required manufacturing practices that meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Essential Job Duties:
- Set up and operate various machinery used in the production of specialty needles and cannulas.
- Performs work by reading instructions and drawings; identifying non-conforming product.
- Meet productivity efficiency and quality goals as determined by management.
- Verifies specifications by using proper measuring tools including micrometers and calipers.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following procedures rules and regulations.
- Follows all product handling procedures SOPs and GMP.
- Documents production by completing required forms and routers and entry into ERP.
- Visual inspection of product using verniers and microscopes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and report any problems related to product quality or machinery.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related goals and results as needed within the Assembly/Inspection Cleaning/Finishing and Metal Fabrication Department
- Performs other duties as required.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Fully enclosed shoes. Safety equipment as indicated in Hazard Assessment Manuals within each department.

Strains/Sprains: Possibility greatly reduced by proper lifting and handling of product.
Burns: Unlikely
CTS/Tenacities: Possibility greatly reduced by varying jobs throughout the shift
Dermatitis: Possibility greatly reduced by following safety guidelines as indicated in the Hazard Assessment Manual.
Lacerations: Possibility greatly reduced by following safe practices as indicated in the Hazard Assessment Manual.
Eye Injury: Possibility greatly reduced by following safe practices as indicated in the Hazard Assessment Manual.
Reasoning: Ability to follow detailed procedures with several potential variables. Problem- solving ability and interpretation of events required for practical matters. Creative innovative solutions to job problems.
Calculations: Addition subtraction multiplication division decimals and percentages; knowledge of various units of measure such as inch foot and yard.
Language: Ability to read and understand product labels policies diagrams safety instructions.
Speaking: Ability to convey detailed messages department supervisor and other employees.
Hearing: Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication both in person and via telephone.
Acuity Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less to accurately inspect read reports invoices etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Requires a high school diploma.
Experience:
Requires 6 12 months to learn and apply comprehensive skills basic to moderate levels of mechanical skills and the operation of equipment and machinery used by the department.
