At Flight Centre our Travel Consultants in the Bedford Square team spend their days having meaningful customer conversations converting enquiries into bookings and working toward clear sales targets while earning commission on every sale. You will work in a fast-paced customer-facing retail environment where personality performance and customer experience all matter.
This role is rewarding but its not easy - especially in your first few months. You will be learning multiple systems navigating a wide range of products and managing high-volume customer conversations all while building confidence in a dynamic retail environment.

About the Opportunity
As a Travel Consultant you will work full time on site in our Bedford Squareretail stores on a rotating roster across a 7-day trade. This is a target-driven sales role where success is measured through KPIs revenue conversion and customer satisfaction.
You will take ownership of the customer journey from first enquiry through to booking and follow-up selling complete travel solutions - not just flights.
What You Will Be Doing
Convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings through consultative sales conversations
Work toward individual KPIs and sales targets earning commission on every sale
Sell end-to-end travel solutions including flights accommodation tours cruises car hire transfers and travel insurance
Build a loyal base of new and repeat customers from simple domestic trips to complex international holidays
Manage multiple customers and communication channels at once (in-store phone email) in a fast-paced retail environment
Use booking systems and supplier tools to quote upsell book and follow up accurately and efficiently
What Success Looks Like in This Role

You balance great customer experience with delivering results
You stay organized resilient and positive when things get busy
What Were Looking For
Minimum 3 years experience in a customer-facing target-driven sales role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and upselling products or services
Strong communication skills and confidence selling in person and over the phone
High attention to detail and strong computer skills with confidence using multiple complex systems
International travel experience
Matric
Availability to work full-time hours including weekends and public holidays
