Job Summary
Buyer Fashion Retail
We are seeking a trend-driven and commercially astute Buyer to join our fashion retail team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who can translate global trends into compelling product ranges that resonate with our customer and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product strategies aligned to brand direction and customer needs
- Source and build commercially successful ranges across assigned categories
- Analyse sales trends and customer insights to inform buying decisions
- Manage supplier relationships negotiations and product development
- Work closely with Merchandise Planning to ensure optimal stock levels and profitability
- Monitor in-season trading and react quickly to maximise opportunities
- Travel (locally and/or internationally) for sourcing supplier meetings and trend research
- Ensure product quality pricing and margin targets are achieved
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Buyer within fashion retail
- Strong commercial acumen and trend awareness
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Passion for fashion and a deep understanding of the customer
