Year 2 Teaching Assistant Kensington and Chelsea
Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils in Key Stage 1 within an Outstanding primary school
An Outstanding primary school in Kensington and Chelsea judged Outstanding by Ofsted in April 2024 is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young learners and wants to make a meaningful impact on pupils learning and development. Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be highly beneficial.
The Role Year 2 Teaching Assistant
As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning and boost confidence.
Provide additional support for pupils who require extra help including those with SEN.
Help maintain a positive inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
Assist with preparing resources and supporting day-to-day classroom organisation.
