This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting childrens learning and wellbeing while gaining a recognised qualification and hands-on experience in a school setting.

About the role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant Apprentice you will:

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences
• Work closely with pupils including those with SEN
• Provide in-class support small group work and one-to-one interventions
• Help promote pupils wellbeing independence and confidence
• Support learning activities behaviour and inclusion across the primary phase
• Participate fully in academy life including training days trips and professional development
• Undertake a specialist Teaching Assistant apprenticeship alongside your role
• Provide classroom cover when required and play an active part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

What were looking for

You need to have:

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Commitment to inclusion safeguarding and equal opportunities
• Willingness to work towards a Teaching Assistant qualification
• It would be a bonus if you already have:
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
