Oasis Academy Hadley is excited to offer an opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our inclusive and thriving all-through academy. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting childrens learning and wellbeing while gaining a recognised qualification and hands-on experience in a school setting.
As part of Oasis Community Learning a national trust of 56 academies you will be supported to develop professionally while helping every child reach their full potential.

About the role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant Apprentice you will:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences
- Work closely with pupils including those with SEN
- Provide in-class support small group work and one-to-one interventions
- Help promote pupils wellbeing independence and confidence
- Support learning activities behaviour and inclusion across the primary phase
- Participate fully in academy life including training days trips and professional development
- Undertake a specialist Teaching Assistant apprenticeship alongside your role
- Provide classroom cover when required and play an active part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
What were looking for
You need to have:
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Commitment to inclusion safeguarding and equal opportunities
- Willingness to work towards a Teaching Assistant qualification
- It would be a bonus if you already have:
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
